CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST-SWEATER VEST
Hand knit vest made with inspiration from Tyler The Creator's album "Call Me If You Get Lost." Intarsia hand knitting techniques were used to create this one of a kind vest.
TARGET PRACTICE
Hand knit sweater made with inspiration to always keep an eye out in the vast and wild world.
SENSE OF PLACE
This project is inspired by adapting in new environments. I created a coat with a woven outer shell and knit lining. This coat is reversible to show multiple versions of someone. If you wear the coat with the knit facing out, you appear more casual and blend in. If you wear it with the woven facing out, you appear more sophisticated but in the end it keeps you more comfortable. Using a female dress-form, I was able to manipulate my pattern pieces to have the garment fit me and create a unique menswear piece.
FLORAL TRUCKER JACKET
Leather Work:
This jacket is made of leather that was gifted to me while in New York City studying with Kent. It is lined with Silk and has four outer pockets with snap cuffs and a frontal overlap that zips and snaps shut. Attached are the pattern layout for the sleeves and collars. Using a zero waste method, I tried to use the most surface area as possible when placing the pattern pieces on the fabric.
