BACK IN THE DAY

This collection is inspired by my childhood and 100% upcycled. All of the fabrics are from clothing donated from family and friends. Stoll knitting and hand knitting also played a big role in creating this collection. The oversized look of the clothing is inspired by my childhood clothes never fitting because they were hand me downs from my two older brothers. I also referenced tactics I learned during my childhood. In look six, the mitered corners are inspired by wood working with my uncle. I want to inspire people to be comfortable in their own skin. Anyone can be fashionable even if that means wearing oversized clothes or upcycling hand me downs.
